New world Italian glamour has landed in The Hills with an impressive new restaurant, cocktail bar, private dining rooms and dedicated function space.

Sarino’s Restaurant

Opening hours: Lunch: Friday from 12.00 noon | Dinner: Thursday, Friday & Saturday from 5.30pm

Take the lift to level one. Featuring an open kitchen where guests can watch the chefs in action, the dining area spills into a decadent cocktail bar with intimate lounge seating perfect for a nightcap or aperitif.

The artisan modern-Italian restaurant, Sarino’s, features sophisticated Italian fare. Sarino’s is inspired by Italian craftmanship, cooking techniques and a passion for fresh, local produce that has been handed down through generations. Sarino’s has Italian heritage and dedication to The Hills community.

Sarino’s represents a special venture for owners Momento Hospitality (Bella Vista Hotel, The Governor and Hillside Hotel) as it pays tribute to the Colosimo family patriarch who was nicknamed ‘Sarino’.

Sarino’s Bar

Opening hours: Thursday 4pm, Friday 12pm, and Saturday 5.30pm.

Located on level one next to the restaurant, Sarino’s cocktail bar has an extensive beverage list of over 200 wines including the legendary 2008 Penfolds Bin 620 Cabernet Shiraz, sparkling Bollinger Champagne plus reinvented classic Italian cocktails such as The Sunday Roast Negroni ‘Arrosto’, inspired by the traditions of an Italian Aperitivo and an Aussie Sunday Roast with subtle notes of rosemary, butter washed gin perfect for a nightcap or aperitif.

Private liquor cabinets to stow top shelf bottles are available for guests to access each time they visit; these top drops will be best enjoyed in the sultry lounge and bar adjoining the restaurant.

Duo Bar

Opening hours: open Friday and Saturday 5.30pm commencing Friday 29th January 2021

Located on Level 2, Livello Duo bar is the perfect place to spend your weekend with a cocktail or two, with the whole level dedicated to classic cocktails, craft beer, antipasto and bar bites

Perfect evening! My wife & I had dinner & drinks in Sarino’s for our wedding anniversary & it was the perfect night! The service was awesome & at such a high quality. Every single person carried an sense of professionalism & care that was so impressive. I felt as though I had been invited into your home & was taken care of as a guest. The food & drinks were delicious. We loved it all! Finally the ambiance was so comfy & romantic. The venue was fantastic with great details in the comfort lighting & design. We had a wonderful evening dining at Sarino’s. The food was amazing just loving everything especially the dish with the finger limes…. very unusual to get finger limes so was very pleasantly surprised!! The staff are very professional yet also personable at the same time. Our waitress Jana was so lovely. We will definitely return.

One of the BEST food experiences in my life. I’ve been a commercial traveller and have eaten at more restaurants than at home. Apart from the famous Cicconis in Melbourne, the food quality here is exceptional. Try the 24 month aged Prosciutto. It melts like butter in your mouth. The deserts were amazing too. The atmosphere and decor is relaxed but stylish. Service is also exceptional. Love this place.

Wow!!! Im not really sure where to begin! My staff and I dined at Sarino’s last night and were absolutely amazed by the experience. It was only the second day of trade for the restaurant and they could not be faulted. Every aspect of the dining experience was flawless. Fine dining in The Hills executed to perfection. The quality, presentation and taste of the exquisite food and drink options left us so excited about our next visit. A welcome and much needed addition to the Hills District. Thank you!

Amazing little spot tucked away in Norwest!! Went with friends and opted for shared dishes as recommended – which was great – so many amazing dishes to try! Honestly could not fault it, each and every dish was divine! The service is brilliant, staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable, decor is gorgeous, and the overall ambiance is just heaven – very lux, but also very cool and chilled. Superlative in every way. I took my daughter there for her birthday and from the moment we got there, the staff went out of their way to make it a very special night. The food was incredible, and so were the cocktails – the addition of the jazz duo was a brilliant surprise. At the end of the night, my daughter said, i think that’s the best restaurant we have ever been to (and we are pretty seasoned restauranters, both in Australia and overseas). I cannot recommend Sarino’s more highly.

About the Chef

Introducing Sarino’s Restaurant and Bar Executive Head Chef, Joe Cavallo; well known as one of the first chefs to bring the Italian tradition of aperitivo to Sydney, Joe is now leading the charge at Sarino’s.

Mentored by celebrity chef Darren Simpson, Joe’s core inspiration comes from an upbringing steeped in food. Born to a Sicilian mother and a Calabrian father, a passion for food and cooking was instilled at a young age.

Much like Joe’s upbringing and background, Sarino’s menu will celebrate Momento Hospitality owner, Ross Colosimo’s family heritage, showcasing the flavours and influences of Italian cuisine whilst using modern cooking techniques to recreate traditional favourites in surprising ways.
Also at the helm is Momento Hospitality Group Executive Chef, Sam Young who has had an extensive career that has seen him travel the globe, working in some of the world’s most renowned kitchens. His prestigious posts include The Summit Restaurant, London’s renowned Oxo Tower Restaurant, and 5th Floor Restaurant Harvey Nichols and on our home soil under renowned chef, Peter Doyle at Pier Restaurant.
